Phoenix Pastor Prays for POTUS to Die; Go To Hell

Ughh, Now I Know How Minnesotans Feel

Steven Anderson is yet another theist hypocrite. Here is his contact information in case you want to tell him so.

Pastor Steven Anderson stood by his sermon in an interview with MyFOXPhoenix, which reports that the pastor continues to encourage his parishioners to join him in praying for the president’s death.

“I hope that God strikes Barack Obama with brain cancer so he can die like Ted Kennedy and I hope it happens today,” he told MyFOXPhoenix on Sunday. He called his message “spiritual warfare” and said he does not condone killing.

I’m gonna pray that he dies and goes to hell when I go to bed tonight. That’s what I’m gonna pray,” he told his congregation.

Faithful Word Baptist Church Doctrinal Statement

  • We believe that the King James Bible is the word of God without error.
  • We believe all Scripture was given by inspiration of God, and that God also promised to preserve his word. Divine inspiration is of no value to Christians without God’s promise of preservation.
  • We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. Being born again by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the only requirement for salvation.
  • We believe in the eternal security of the believer (once saved, always saved).
  • We believe that the unsaved will spend eternity in torment in a literal hell.
  • We believe that Jesus is God, and that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Ghost of the virgin Mary.
  • We believe only in the local church and not in a universal church.
  • We reject the teaching of Calvinism and believe that God wants everyone to be saved.
  • We are Non-dispensational.
  • We believe that life begins at conception (fertilization) and reject all forms of abortion including surgical abortion, “morning-after” pills, IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), birth control pills, and all other processes that end life after conception.
  • We believe that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination which God punishes with the death penalty.
  • We oppose worldliness, modernism, formalism, and liberalism.

GOP Rep. Comes Clean on Opposition to Obama

In kooks, politics, POTUS, racists, republicans on August 27, 2009 at 6:04 pm

GOP Looking for “Great White Hope”

Wow, didn’t I just call on the Republicans to come clean about their opposition to President Obama? It would appear I did! Time to quote myself, a faux pas I know.

To the American Right: Just be honest in your opposition. Stop insulting everyone’s intelligence. Thanks for reading.

I can only assume that U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) read my words yesterday, and decided to heed my advice.

(AP) TOPEKA, Kan. – U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins told a recent gathering in northeast Kansas that the Republican Party is looking for a “great white hope” to help stop the political agenda of the Democratic party and President Barack Obama.

Well I have to give her credit for being honest, but she did try to distance herself for those comments later. I wonder if this story will help or hurt Mrs. Jenkins in the midterm elections. It should be interesting to see.

Back to giving myself undue credit. I’m so cool. /pats self on the back

Right Wing Kook Looks Forward to Violent Coup

Very Telling Comment Shines Light on the Fringe

I take part in another blog, called FreeSerfs, in which I debate issues with a libertarian. I haven’t in months though, as let’s face it, debating a libertarian is an exercise in futility. This morning, I received a comment on an old post, that I also posted on The New Atheist. The comment read:

You are obtuse, and in a few years this nation will be in the depths of a bloody revolt that will make the French Revolution look like a Sunday picnic. I look forward to it. – George Taylor

The truth comes out. He “looks forward” to a bloody revolt, one where certainly many innocent people and patriots would die. I’m amazed out how easily these people would do away with our democracy in the name of their “lost freedoms”. Do they think that after their little coup d’etat, after their installed strong man takes power that we will simply return to the old system as if nothing has happened? Of course not, and even if we somehow set an unheard of precedent, what happens when another man they don’t like is elected? It is a scary prospect that the most armed, least educated portion of our society is so willing to support the violent death of the “last, best hope for man on Earth”.

Mr. Taylor’s comments show just how out of touch the angry right is. I believe they only serve to hurt the Republicans in the long run. Independent voters have abandoned the GOP for the time being, and I don’t imagine Obama’s head on spike would do nothing to garner the support of the moderate middle. They, like me, don’t want to see our great history usurped by a fringe movement.

It is becoming more and more apparent that the radical opposition to President Obama is really just about race. They say they want their freedoms back, as if anything has really changed. Where were they during the patriot act debate? I don’t remember violent town halls then. They say they want their country back, from who? Is the United States not President Obama’s (a black man) country too? It is, but they refuse to believe it. These people believe that the POTUS is destroying the country, on purpose. What is their strategy for dealing with this unfounded belief? Actually destroy the country.

To the American Right: Just be honest in your opposition. Stop insulting everyone’s intelligence. Thanks for reading.

Obama Calls for "Cash for Corpses"

In editorial, lol, politics, stupid people on August 14, 2009 at 8:51 pm

Program Will Encourage Euthanizing Grandparents

Lansing, Michigan – Speaking at a health care town hall meeting, President Obama revealed what the White House is saying will be a keystone program in the global economic recovery. “Cash for Corpses” as it is called, will pay private citizens up to $5,000 if they can prove they caused the death of a retiree.

“Whether you take them off life support, deny them their medication, or just a good old-fashioned push down the stairs, this is a chance for every American to be part of the solution,” the President said. “Non-contributing Americans (retirees) cost the federal government the more per capita than any other group. Without them, we stand to save trillions.” The program will be administered by special panels set up by the Department of the Economic Agenda Theory and its Human Impact (D.E.A.T.H.). The $5000 comes in the form of a tax credit intended to help what Mr. Obama called, “contributing Americans” buy their own private health insurance.

President Obama also touted the environmental benefits of Cash for Corpses, “Imagine our nation’s roads and highways senior free. There would be no one going dangerously slow, driving in two lanes, making left turns from the right lane, or changing their colostomy bags in traffic. Congestion will drop, meaning less greenhouse gasses.” It is estimated that non-contributors are responsible for up to 97% of all traffic jams, a large source of CO2 emissions.” The President speculated, “The whole sale murder of seniors today, might just save our planet tomorrow.”

Supporters point out other major benefits. “I’ve long been a proponent of harvesting still functioning tissue and organs of the elderly for our own personal use” says Dr. Frank Rosenbom, Chief Research Director at Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital. “If Grandpa has heart problems, but has a perfectly good liver, why let it go to waste on him for another ten years? Under the Cash for Corpses program, we’d be able to harvest that liver and give it to a 30-something recovering alcoholic. And let’s not forget the $5,000 that will be put back into the economy from this. That kind of scratch could be put towards a home, debt, or maybe a really authentic looking birth certificate forgery. I can’t think of any scenario that is more of a win-win than this.”

Critics of the President’s plan say that Cash for Corpses will hurt small business. “What the American people want to know is what the President’s proposal will do to Denny’s, or the used Cadillac market? I don’t even want to think about the millions of American families that are dependent on the adult diaper industry,” said House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH).

When asked how what the government planned to do with all the money it would save the President responded “Reparations, what else? Oh, and I’ve purchased Kenya”

Octomom Nadya Suleman admits she “never” thought about the future and airs her deep regret for her latest round of multiple births in an interview that will air on Fox during a two-hour special, ‘Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage,’ on August 19.

“I screwed myself,” she said. “I screwed up my life, I screwed up my kids’ lives…What was I thinking?”

The second clip contains footage of eight screaming babies writhing around on Suleman’s bed as she attempts to feed them with only two arms.
