“The Police Won’t Save You”
Any atheist worth his/her salt knows who PZ Myers is, but just incase, here you are. I’ve been a big fan of this blog Pharyngula for a few years. While he does get death threats from time to time, these ones are particularly disturbing. Here we have yet another example of fundamentalist believing it is okay to murder non-believers.

I’ve grow tired of pointing out religious hypocrisy. I’m sure it is evident to any reader, even a child, no doubt. So I will just say I hate when people put “…” after every sentence.

im slightyl drunk as i write this, but still.
i hate people who fuckin threaten ateists cause they dont believe the same pathetic bullshit as them.
Religions were founded by schizophrenic people and provides a playground for schizophrenic people. The world would be so much better off without theism. People suffering from mental illness would be detected earlier and at least not given any credit.
The man who wrote the threat is/was obviously in a psychosis. Sometimes those kind of people will plan and act upon their fantasies, like i.e. the killer of John Lennon. Those people are afraid, live in an entire different world and are completely lost. Devote religious people, if not mentally ill, live in an artificial psychosis.
Religion is very dangerous. Not because of the majority of people doing no harm. It's because of fanatics, people who abuse the good will of fanatics and because of mentally ill people. One out of one hundred people suffers schizophrenia. Their brains have difficulties to filter impressions and thoughts. Shortcuts in perception and thought happen, fantasies become part of reality, those people believe things that don't exist. For them the CIA is spying on them, or they believe their baby is possessed, or they believe they are a messenger from an invisible man in the clouds. Religions feed paranoia, hallucinations and psychoses and make artificial equivalents with sane people.
I have been MIA from blogspot for a bit, and it saddens me to have this be my first article back. It is almost surreal to me that this kind of behavior is overlooked in America. It's very scary.
