Why Doesn’t the Right Care About Hypocrisy?

False cries of racism” are “dangerous,” like when someone “cries ‘fire.’ – Glenn Beck

This president, I think, has exposed himself as a guy — over and over and over again — who has a deep seated hatred for white people or white culture, I don’t know what it is…I’m saying he has a problem, this guy is, I believe, a racist. – Glenn Beck

  1. I think you're correct in pushing the Right to shape up on hypocrisy. Everyone of us needs to guard against this. However, this is just not a very good example to use. Beck will believe, that his is not a "false" cry of racism.

  2. I agree it's not a very good example, which is too bad because there are plenty of them. TheYoungTurks on YouTube did something interesting with Glenn Beck. They found an old clip of him back when he was with ….was it MSNBC? CNN? Anyway, when he was on another network. This clip is of him right after some kind of surgery he had. He's sitting up in a bed or something looking awful and complaining his ASS OFF about the US health care system. Cut to a year later and he's comparing health care reform to the nazis and spouting off about how our health care system is the best in the world.

  3. True, you both make good points. Thanks for the feedback!
